The difference between steering gear and ordinary DC motor
Sep 04, 2021
The rotation range is different: the steering gear moves within a certain angle range, while the DC motor rotates within 360°.
Whether the feedback is different: Ordinary DC motors cannot feed back the angle information of rotation, and a detection module needs to be installed. The steering gear can feed back angle information because of the integrated angle sensor.
The application occasions are different: ordinary DC motors are generally used for power, mainly to control the speed of rotation, and the steering gear is used for precise angle control, and it will stop after reaching the specified angle.
