Description
A manual capstan is a vertical-axled rotating machine that pulls cargo by shaking the winch drum by hand.
Application: Mainly used on dredgers, merchant ships, yachts, cruise ships, barges and official law enforcement vessels on the main deck at the bow and stern, when the ship sailing and stops.

Working principle for a manual capstan/winch
A gear-driven winch rope drum pulls the cargo by turning the rope wound around it. Light and strong, galvanized, pressed steel structure; steel cables pull the pulley propelled unit through two built-in prongs. These prongs pull the cable in forward mode, which also acts as an automatic braking system. The prongs lock automatically as the grip increases.
The manual winch relies on manpower for hoisting operations. When in use, manpower is required to slowly pull the handle for hoisting operations. It can be used for hoisting operations in the wild without power supply, and there is no need to check power supply problems before use.
It has an automatic brake device, which makes the operation safer. When the winch wire rope is pulling the cargo and the winch drum remains still, the brake job will be automatically activated. When various rescue work is required, the manual winch is another option besides the vehicle winch. It is portable and can be connected from any direction of the car.
The traction force of the winch is rated in pounds, which can be converted into tons or kilograms through conversion. Choose one with a high poundage, as the weight of the vehicle in distress is often much higher than the weight of an everyday vehicle.
