Precautions when lashing containers

1. The containers on the deck and hatch cover should generally be arranged longitudinally;
2. The container should not be allowed to extend beyond the ship's side, and proper support must be provided for the container that extends out of the hatch coaming or other deck structures;
3. When the container is stacked on the hatch cover, a brake or other equivalent device that can prevent the hatch cover from sliding should be installed.
4. When securing the container on the first floor:
(1) Use a corner locking device at the bottom corner of the container to secure the container;
(2) In addition to the above methods, lashing devices can also be used at both ends of each container to fasten the container diagonally or vertically, and use positioning cones at the bottom corners of each container.
5. When securing the 2-layer container, it should:
(1) A corner locking device is used to secure the container at the bottom corner of each layer of containers; in addition to the above methods, the container can also be secured between the two ends of each container on the second layer and the deck or hatch cover. Use a lashing device for securing. And the position cone should be set at the bottom corner of each layer of container;
(2) If the calculation shows that there is a separation force at the bottom corner of the container, a corner locking device should be installed there
