Description

Roller Rubber Fender is installed in the rotational axle supported by a holder (steel structure) When vessel berths or shifts, fender body rotates with it. Fender body brings about the compression deflection, absorbing vessel’s impacting energy. Thus it can protect vessels and docks.

These fenders can be installed vertically keeping in mind the rolling and pitching of vessels during loading and unloading of cargo. In case of this modified version, since the Roller is capable of horizontal movement, it can absorb the impact more smoothly compared to the fixed type roller fenders.

Installation of roller rubber fender

1. Installation of holder (steel structure) for roller rubber fender

The holder which is welded with steel, is used to fasten roller rubber fender. It’s material is Q235 or Q345. Anticorrosion treatment is in accordance with the way of dealing with steel frame.

2. Installation of pre-built-in parts

There are bolt, washer, sleeve, anchor bar and anchor plate should be pre-built-in the dock wall.
